An "extended warranty" is an extension of your manufacturer's warranty. SunPath is not connected to vehicle manufacturers or dealers in any way. Instead, our service contract kicks in when your existing warranty expires or to fills any gaps in coverage.

No, we are not affiliated in any way with the extended warranties that manufacturers and dealers sell. We offer our service contracts through Licensed Suppliers covering most all vehicle makes and models.

Yes. Our contracts are transferable if you sell your vehicle to another person. Contact one of our representatives toll free at (888) 990-7786.

Yes. Please click the Contact Us Link on this site and fill out the form requesting a new contract. You can also call Customer Service at 1-888-990-7786 to obtain a copy of your contract.

Your coverage is active after the Waiting Period is over. Please see the Declarations Page of your contract for the time and mileage of your Waiting Period.

The easiest thing to do if you get a new vehicle is to call Customer Service at 1-888 990-7786. We will put you in Contact with Selling Dealer to cancel out your old Policy and place you in Coverage suitable for your new Vehicle.

If for any reason you need to change or discontinue your plan, please contact the Seller listed on your contract. You can also call our Customer Service at (888) 990-7786 and we will assist you in contacting them.

Coverage Questions

We have a variety of different plans available. Please refer to your contract to determine your level of coverage or Contact Customer Service at 1-888-990-7786.

You may have your vehicle repaired at any licensed repair facility of your choice. You are responsible to make sure that the repair facility calls SunPath prior to repairing your vehicle at (888) 990-7786.

If you need Towing or Roadside Assistance, please contact the Roadside Assistance phone number on your contract.

All covered repairs will be made with parts of like kind and quality. Please see contract for details.

Most repair facilities accept SunPath service contract plans. Please ask your repair facility to contact SunPath with any questions SunPath relies on industry standard-pricing guides for parts and labor. SunPath pays all claims directly to the repair facility by Credit Card or Check.

Claim Questions

As soon as your vehicle breaks down, please call the Claims or Roadside Assistance number on your contract. SunPath needs to Approve Claim before any work is done to the Vehicle.

Refer to your contract's coverage section to find a list of covered components listed under your contract. See contract for more details.

Once the repair is completed, you pay your deductible directly to the repair facility.

Rental reimbursement is available on approved claims. Please find your rental terms and conditions outlined in your Service Contract Plan.

Simply call the roadside assistance number listed in your contract to arrange a tow truck to take you to a local repair facility. Contact the shop in the morning to start the claim.

Once the work has been completed, claims will pay the repair directly over the phone to the repair facility by SunPath. You will be responsible for your deductible, plus any non-covered charges.

You need to keep up with your manufacturer's maintenance schedule and keep receipts for all scheduled maintenance. You must be out of your scheduled waiting period to file a claim (see your contract for details on waiting period). Do not misuse, neglect, or modify your vehicle during the contract term.
